On one side the LOGICBASE V-ST membrane has a texture — profiled studs or embossing — and it serves as the second waterproofing layer in two-layer PVC membrane systems for underground structures. This arrangement allows leak-tightness to be checked by vacuum both during construction and in service; in addition, V-ST works as a protective layer in waterproofing systems for foundations, tunnels and stylobates. Elongation is 300% ±20%, watertightness at 1 MPa for 24 h is absolute, flexibility on a bar is retained down to −45 °C. It is supplied in rolls 20 m long.
