Fire protection of steel structures

Sub-zero temperatures do not prevent the application of VUP-3R: the paint, on an organic polymer in an aromatic solvent, can be applied in frost down to −15 °C provided the relative humidity does not exceed 85 %. The coating protects steel structures up to R90 in industrial, public and residential buildings without an aggressive environment and in areas under a canopy, where it serves for 10 years or more. Alkyd, acrylic, epoxy (including zinc-rich) and other primers are suitable. The paint is white, in a 20 l (25 kg) euro pail.
