AKVATRON-6 is the main penetrating compound of the series, based on Portland cement, treated sand and a complex of activating additives. Applied to water-saturated concrete, it raises the watertightness grade by 6–8 steps under positive and negative water pressure and the frost resistance by at least 2 grades; the crystals penetrate to a depth of more than 150 mm and fill cracks up to 0.4 mm. The compound is used on foundations, basements, tanks, pumping stations, collector tunnels, dams, bridges and in the metro; service temperature from −60 to +250 °C.
