KO-85 Elcon — colourless heat-resistant silicone varnish up to +250 °C
KO-85 varnish is a colourless silicone material on modified resin with a styrene-acrylic copolymer, manufactured to GOST 11066-74 and TU 2312-011-49222195-2013. It protects metal, concrete, brick, reinforced concrete and asbestos cement when heated up to +250 °C; on concrete and plaster it is applied in three coats, and dipping is permitted. In addition, the varnish serves as the base of KO-814 enamel (with aluminium powder 100 : 5) and as a modifying additive for acrylic and alkyd paints and coatings.
