Composite strengthening

CarbonWrap Lamel T-50 laminates are made by polyurethane pultrusion: high-strength carbon fibres, more than 65 % by volume, are bound by a polyurethane matrix. Laminates 83 and 120 mm wide are supplied in rolls of 11 linear m; before installation the protective film is removed from both sides and they are bonded to the prepared substrate with CarbonWrap Resin Laminate+ adhesive. This is an element of the CarbonWrap external reinforcement system for industrial buildings, bridges, columns and beams; the tensile strength is more than 1100 MPa, the modulus of elasticity more than 150 GPa.
