Fire protection of timber

Timber structures indoors and under a canopy are protected by VUP-2D, a water-based paint on polyvinyl acetate dispersion that provides fire protection performance group 1 to GOST R 53292. It is applied in one or two coats by spray, brush or roller at temperatures from +5 °C, with intercoat drying of 4 hours. For outdoor use, after 48 hours the coating is overcoated with a weather-resistant enamel. The white colour can be tinted in pastel shades; the shelf life of the paint is 6 months.
