Polyurethane floors

The paint is designed for asphalt concrete floors, which are ground with terrazzo grinding machines and dedusted before painting. The coating protects asphalt from mechanical and chemical attack and is resistant to oils, fuels and lubricants, petrol and diesel fuel; work is carried out at temperatures not lower than +5 °C. The material is solvent-free and odourless, Shore D hardness 53–58, film tensile strength at least 17 MPa; its use for asphalt concrete floors in garages has been agreed with Mosekspertiza.

Application methodProtection of asphalt concrete floors against mechanical and chemical attack. Requirements: evenness – deviation not more than 4 mm under a 2 m straightedge, slope not more than 0.5%, preliminary grinding with terrazzo grinding machines and dust removal, moisture not more than 4 wt%, waterproofing on the lowest floor; relative air humidity not more than 80%, dew point +3°C. Squeegee rakes, notched and flat trowels, brushes, rollers; when applied with a squeegee rake/notched trowel – roll with a spiked roller; working time of the mixed material on the surface not more than 20 minutes.
