KO-198 Elcon — weather-resistant silicone enamel for aggressive environments
KO-198 silicone enamel protects steel structures under short-term exposure to sulphuric acid, nitric and hydrochloric acid vapours and mineralised groundwater, as well as foundations, reinforced concrete supports and products for tropical climates. It is produced in two versions — up to +150 °C and up to +300 °C, with a lower limit of −60 °C in both cases. No priming is required; the enamel is applied by air spray in 2–3 cross coats at temperatures from −30 °C to +40 °C.
