KO-8101 Elcon — heat-resistant enamel up to +700 °C for pipelines and the power industry
A one-component enamel on modified silicone resin with a solution of pentaphthalic resin, manufactured to TU 2312-237-05763441-98. It protects oil, steam, heating and gas pipelines, chimneys, steel structures and vessels: black withstands up to +700 °C, silver-grey up to +650 °C, red-brown up to +500 °C, other colours up to +400 °C. Among its projects, the manufacturer names the launch pads of the Plesetsk cosmodrome and the Surgut and Novomichurinsk GRES power plants.
