EP-0199 Khimtek — epoxy primer for corroded metal
Two-pack epoxy primer for industrial atmospheres with aggressive gases and vapours, applied over corroded metal.

The chemical-resistant METAPROTEK®-0962 is based on a modified epoxy resin with a corrosion inhibitor and is cured with the METAPROTEK hardener in a ratio of 100:15. The primer-enamel is intended for metal and reinforced concrete structures of chemical and petrochemical plants and industrial atmospheres, and is also used indoors. The stand-alone coating is applied in 2–3 coats at temperatures from +5 to +35 °C; the pot life of the mixture is at least 24 h, and resistance to water, petrol, oil and 3 % NaCl is at least 72 h.
