The one-component primer based on a polyurethane prepolymer cures with air humidity. FP840 is used in two ways: as a primer under polymer coatings and as a stand-alone hardening impregnation applied in several coats to a gloss. It can be applied at air temperatures down to −10 °C if the substrate is warmed to at least +10 °C. Shore D hardness 70–72, water absorption no more than 0.1%, service from −30 to +60 °C, class KM1. Foot traffic is possible after one day.
