Sazilast 501 — pourable polysulfide sealant for road joints
Sazilast 501 from the road series 500 is a two-component polysulfide pourable sealant for expansion joints in concrete and reinforced concrete road pavements, bridge elements, tunnels and water conduits, including joints under direct mechanical load. Nominal tensile strength at break is at least 1.3 MPa, fatigue endurance is at least 30,000 cycles, and flexibility is retained down to −50 °C. The joint is resistant to long-term contact with groundwater, oils, fuel, acid and alkali solutions, but contact with drinking water is excluded.
