MGTN, or TECHNONICOL mastic No. 24, is a homogeneous cold mass of petroleum bitumen with fillers, process additives and solvent. Its purpose is coating waterproofing of concrete, reinforced concrete, timber and other structures that are buried in the ground and in contact with a damp environment; the mastic is not used for roof coverings. The non-volatile content is at least 65%, heat resistance is not lower than +80 °C, and flexibility on a bar is retained down to −5 °C. It can be applied from −20 to +40 °C by brush or by pouring; packaging — 10 kg euro pail.
