Epoxy primers

A red-brown epoxy primer with zinc phosphate for painting cleaned rolled steel plate and structures on the manufacturer’s automated lines. It dries in minutes — to degree 3 in no more than 10 min at 20 °C — and maintains pre-fabrication protection for up to 24 months, including in an open industrial atmosphere. Thermal cutting and semi-automatic and automatic high-speed welding are permitted through the primer without increasing weld porosity; the structure is then overcoated with IZOLEP-primer, IZOLEP-mastic, IZOLEP-235 or other materials.
