Zn-YARFAST®-0567 primer — zinc-rich primer for elevated temperatures
Zinc-rich epoxy primer for steel structures and products operating in a corrosive environment at elevated temperatures.
The heat resistance of KO-8104 Khimtek enamel depends on its colour: silver-grey and black films withstand at least 3 h at (600±5) °C, red-brown, brown and green films at (500±5) °C, and the others at (400±5) °C. The enamel on an organosilicon resin is used on railway tank cars, vessels for flammable liquids, chemical plant equipment, distillation columns, pipelines, chimneys and furnaces, as well as on concrete and asbestos cement. It is applied by air spray in 2–3 coats.
