Vetonit remokor LS-60 — rapid-hardening pourable R4 mortar for urgent repair

Vetonit remokor LS-60 is intended for urgent repair with fast reopening to traffic: at +20 °C foot and vehicle traffic is allowed after 2–3 h, when the compressive strength reaches at least 15 MPa. The rapid-hardening class R4 mix is poured into formwork at air temperatures from −10 to +18 °C; in frost the formwork is insulated from the outside. The mortar is used on airfield and road pavements and industrial floors and for repairing expansion joints; at 28 days the strength reaches 60 MPa, water impermeability W16.

Application methodclean the concrete, remove weak areas (grinding, milling, sandblasting, shot blasting), substrate roughness at least 5 mm; at above-zero temperatures dampen 24 h beforehand and before the work, at sub-zero temperatures — do not dampen; mix an amount that can be used within 10–20 min; pour the dry mix into the water, mix for at least 3 min, pause 1 min, remix; temperature of the ready mortar +24…+26 °C; pour into strong, watertight formwork soaked with water or with a moisture-proof surface, in frost insulate the formwork from the outside; pour from one side continuously, without vibration; for a layer thicker than 50 mm add washed gravel (crushed stone) 5–10 mm (5–20 mm) at 50–60 % of the dry mix weight
Application temperature–10…+18 °C (air)
Curingkeep moist, protect from precipitation, sun and wind for 24 hours; a film-forming curing compound may be used; at sub-zero temperatures hardening and strength gain slow down
