Fire protection of air ducts

The highest rating in the range, EI150, is provided by SPLEND-150. Its thermal insulation is the TEKh MAT KF foil-faced basalt mat, which is glued to the duct on the wet layer of NATRSIL-S 541 compound and taped along the seams with aluminium tape. If the duct is primed with GF-021, a water-based adhesive is applied first: UKhRA-1505, UKhRA-1503, FIKSAR 051 or ALBENTA 171. The adhesive compound comes in 48 l drums, the mats in 4.5 × 1 m rolls.
