VUP-2B fire protection paint for reinforced concrete structures

Fire protection of concrete

For reinforced concrete, the VUP range has a dedicated paint, VUP-2B. It gives concrete structures fire resistance up to REI150 and is used indoors in a non-aggressive environment and under a canopy at humidity not above 85 %. The surface is pre-treated with GKZh-11 or SOFEXIL-40 water repellent or UKhRA-0501 primer. Before being put into service, the coating is cured for at least 5 days at temperatures above +15 °C and up to 15 days at lower temperatures; indoors the coating serves for 25 years, under a canopy for 10 years or more.
