AkvaVIS PM — polyurethane injection foam with activator
The AkvaVIS PM kit includes a 20 kg pail of base and a 2 kg activator, which is added at a ratio of 10 : 1 by mass. The result is an elastic hydroactive solvent-free polyurethane foam: on free expansion it increases in volume 20–25 times and remains leak-tight under hydrostatic pressure in moving cracks. The compound is used to seal joints, cracks and voids under dynamic loads, fill voids behind tunnel linings and eliminate pressurised leaks before injecting AkvaVIS S400 resin. Work is possible at temperatures above +3 °C.
