Penetrating waterproofing

The paint-on version of the penetrating mix is applied with a synthetic-fibre brush in a criss-cross pattern or mechanically, in 2 coats at an interval of at least 30 min. It protects tanks, pressure towers, foundations, basements and other underground structures from inside and outside when there is no active water seepage at the time of work. The watertightness grade is at least W10, bond to concrete after 28 days more than 3.3 MPa, frost resistance at least 200 cycles.

Application methodfor installing and restoring waterproofing in the absence of active water infiltration at the time of work, from inside and outside; clean the substrate down to structurally sound material (wire brushes, rotary hammer, sandblaster or high-pressure water jet) — on both old and new surfaces; open up joints, abutments and service penetrations and fill them with Gidroteks-Sh, open up and fill pressurised leaks with Gidroteks-B, level with Gidroteks-R; final cleaning with a water jet machine or pressurised water, saturating the surface with water (surface clean, rough, generously moistened); waterproofing work — no earlier than 3 days after preparation; water 33% of the mix weight (8.25 l per 25 kg) for manual application or 40% (10 l per 25 kg) for mechanised application, water temperature 18–20 °C; mix by hand or with an electric mixer for 5–7 min, technological pause 5 min, re-mix for 5–7 min without adding water; during work, stir without adding water; working time 40–60 min; with a synthetic-fibre brush onto a water-saturated surface in 2 criss-cross coats or mechanically (GRACO RTX 1500 finishing sprayer or equivalent) in 2 coats; continuous, uninterrupted application, interval between coats at least 30 min
