Gidroteks-U (universal) — penetrating waterproofing for concrete and stone

Penetrating waterproofing

The universal mix of the range is used for installing and restoring waterproofing of concrete, reinforced concrete and stone structures when there is no active water seepage at the time of work; it can be applied from inside and outside. Typical objects are foundations, tanks, pools, water towers, columns and bridge piers. The non-shrink compound shows a watertightness grade of at least W10, compressive strength of at least 45 MPa and frost resistance of at least 300 cycles.

Application methodfor installing and restoring waterproofing of concrete, reinforced concrete and stone structures in the absence of active infiltration of ground or process water at the time of work, from inside and outside; clean the substrate down to structurally sound material (wire brushes, rotary hammer, sandblaster or high-pressure water jet) — on both old and new surfaces; open up joints, abutments and service penetrations and fill them with Gidroteks-Sh, open up and fill pressurised leaks with Gidroteks-B, level with Gidroteks-R; final cleaning with a water jet machine or pressurised water, saturating the surface with water (surface clean, rough, generously moistened); waterproofing work — no earlier than 3 days after preparation; water 20% of the mix weight (5 l per 25 kg), water temperature 18–20 °C; mix by hand or with an electric mixer for 5–7 min, technological pause 5 min, re-mix for 5–7 min without adding water; during work, stir without adding water; working time 40–60 min; with a spatula in a layer of at least 2–3 mm, filling cavities and cracks to their full depth; for repair, restoration and facing works — thickness according to the technology, but at least 2–3 mm
