Zinc-rich primers

TSINOTAN is a one-pack zinc-rich primer on a polyurethane binder that cures with atmospheric moisture; the zinc content of the coating corresponds to level 1, type II per SSPC Paint 20. It is used on steel structures, bridges, oil and gas and chemical facilities, and in marine and port structures. In a system it serves as a primer under FERROTAN, ALUMOTAN and POLITON-UR, and it may also be used as a stand-alone coating. Among the zinc primers of the range it stands out for application at relative humidity up to 98 % and air temperatures from −15 °C.
