Reinforced concrete structures with a required fire resistance rating of up to REI150 are protected with the sprayable NEOFLAME 515B compound. It is an aqueous paste-like suspension of a polymer binder and structuring fillers; it is applied with forced-feed units in two or three coats over concrete pre-treated with a water repellent or UKhRA-0501 primer. The coating is intended for premises with a non-aggressive environment and areas under a canopy; in damp conditions it is overcoated with a finishing enamel. Under a canopy and in unheated buildings the service life is at least 10 years.
