VUP-2K fire protection paint for cables

Fire protection of cable lines

Cables in cable structures, as well as building structures indoors and under a canopy, are painted with VUP-2K. To GOST R 53311, the flame-damaged length of a cable surface with this coating is less than 1.5 m. The paint is based on an aqueous polyvinyl acetate dispersion, so it is thinned with water; it is applied by airless spray or brush in two or three coats at temperatures from +5 °C. Cables with metal sheathing are first primed with an anti-corrosion primer, for example UKhRA-1503.
